Frequently Asked Questions
How can we work together?
RIAs and other financial institutions offer our strategies to clients through:
SMAs (separately managed accounts),
in TAMPs as part of a sleeve,
mutual funds
When you offer our strategies to your client, you own the client relationship and execute all the trades. You can choose to white label our strategies or not.
Meanwhile, we manage the models and communicate trading instructions via email and text.
We are compensated based off the total AUM in the strategy.
How are signals delivered?
Signals for EVO 1 and EVO 3 are delivered via email, usually by 12pm EST, and are meant to be executed that day.
Signals for EVO 2 are delivered by email and text, usually by 3:30pm EST, and are meant to be executed that day. These signals come later in the day because EVO 2 also relies on traditional technical analysis, and considers intraday market data. Usually, we are able to send out tentative instructions earlier in the day so that you can build your trades in advance.
EVO, the algorithm, is updated each night and relies on end of day data. That means we do most of our analysis at night, and sometimes into the morning. Delivery times can vary due to the sometimes extensive nature of analysis that is required.
We ask all licensees to confirm receipt of the signal. If you do not confirm, we will call you.
How often do you trade?
The objective of the strategies is to take many short-term trades, and win more than we lose. This way, returns compound overtime into superior long-term performance.
As EVO has evolved from 8 trading systems to now over 30 trading systems, the model has projected more frequent trades. Today, the model projects between 18-20 round trip trades a year. The median duration of trades is 10 days.
EVO 2 is even more active, since it also includes reallocations. We fully systematized the reallocation model in 2016, and since then, reallocations have been more frequent.
Year | EVO 1 & EVO 3 Round Trip Trades | EVO 1 & EVO 3 Total Trades |
